You have been in the Quakeworld world for many years, why did you give up on the game?

I was in graduate school when I was playing quakeworld. After smackdown 3, I wanted to stop playing. I made some sacrifices to play in genocide 5. After winning genocide 5, quakeworld was very dead. I was also finishing my phd, applying for jobs and writing grant proposals. I did not have the free time to sit on servers all day waiting for a game. I was an admin in a few leagues, but eventually I did not even have time to do that. I really enjoyed playing quakeworld, but as you get older you have less and less free time. These days I am lucky to play video games once a week if that.
