Interview With wK wK-robnoly: I couldn't play for wK in showdown, but yeah, there was one team that we thought we would have a problem with, and that was dirty dozen. Exodus: Any specicifics reasons, or are/were they just a solid team? wK-robnoly: We thought they were the best non-qil team at the time. Exodus: Is the wK that finished Showdown 2 the same that began the tournament, or were you stricken by the east coast clan hopping bug? wK-robnoly: We had 3 core members from beginning to end... Actually, 4. Wilh3lm, Emmortal, V3stek and Wolff. We picked up Best at the beginning of Showdown 2, but he left mid-way and joined DarkSide. Exodus: What happened between the time you lost to hka and when you faced ss in the final? Change of work ethic? More practice? wK-wilh3lm: When we lost to HKA, quadfactor was set to 0. Neither team knew and they outplayed us as such. At the time, our work ethic was lacking..... We weren't practicing much. In fact, we didn't really become very active until just recently. We're getting along much better now. Friendly players. Guys that want the team to improve. Exodus: How do you feel about Badlands and the changes it represents? wK-wilh3lm I look at badlands exactly as bishop explained it to me. It's a medium for testing new maps and how different teams react to new situations. It shows who can adapt, not necessarily who the best teams are, or will be by the time next QIL comes around. Should be fun. Exodus: Anything else you want to add? wK-wilh3lm: Pimp can do this weird jello-like thing with his ass on his chair. Exodus: omg! wK-wilh3lm: We haven't determined whether or not it will improve his game yet. Exodus: Last question. Are you happy with your Tier 2 placement or do you think you belong in Tier 1 with the big name clans? wK-wilh3lm: Well, I asked Bishop why certain teams were in Tier 1 and why we were in Tier 2 and again, he explained that it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how good a team is in all cases. It's supposed to be a fun event and that's how we'll take it. Nevertheless, being placed in such a high tier is nice and we appreciate it.

Exodus: Coming into the Showdown tournament, what did you expect to be your biggest obstacle?
wK-wilh3lm: Our biggest obstacle...... Ourselves. We were a very new team at the time and new teams have problems. We knew that we had a deep talent pool, but keeping a good, strong team morale was more important. As for other teams, |12| was doing well for themselves and we felt that they, if any team, would put up a fight. As we went further into the event, we learned that there were other teams that wanted to win just about as much as us, if not more. It was fun, though.
wK-wilh3lm: Our starting lineup vs ss consisted of v3stek, emmortal, and myself, along with cha0ticz and Pimp, but the base of that team was the same as it was 5 months ago.
wK-robnoly: I thought the idea of changing the machine gun ammo and damage was a good one.
wK-wilh3lm: Yeah, Badlands mode seems like it might remove some of the MG cess. wK-wilh3lm: Though I don't really like some of the maps.
wK-robnoly: *cough* ngi *cough*
wK-wilh3lm: I'm sure some of them will grow on me.
wK-wilh3lm: I'd like to see dm7 lan games in badlands mode.
