<Cicatrix> To give the history of every player would be too much work =].

<Cicatrix> It\'s a big read but a very nice tale. There will be a sequal after the ec3 finals i guess.
<Cicatrix> The ec3 team consists of Vertex, KingpiN, Warlock and KoeKieman, with the coach Godsmurf. They started practicing in january 2001.

<ph33rl3ss> How much do you practice together and with whom?
<Cicatrix> We haven\'t had much practice after the game against aAa (1/4 finals). Three or four days before the SK game, we started training with Vikings (thx for pracs), and it worked out. For the EC3 finals, we also haven\'t practiced as much as we should. But mTw was so kind to practice with us last weekend. (thx a lot guys) This was really needed cuz as Cx is an internet clan, we never practiced lan situations. On the internet, we still play with binds. This was the very first time we used LAN communication since we started with a totally new tactical system in January, so it was much needed if we don\'t want to get owned too hard at EC3 next weekend.

<ph33rl3ss> The best Quake game is? And why?

    BosjeR: Quake 2 ofcourse!
    Godsmurf: Quake 2 !!
    Warlock: I like quake2 because of the teamplay and the maps, but on the whole, I like q3 better.
    KingpiN: I like promode on dm17.
    Vertex: Quake 3
    KoeKieman: quake2 or promode

    Team: Reaching the ec3 lan finals as a team.
    Bosjer: Becoming the cb benelux champions in q3.
    Warlock: Owning Rufus with grenades on dm2 and dm3 :).

<ph33rl3ss> Seeing as Cicatrix is the only known Quake3 TDM clan from Belgium, and mostly so because of beating SK to get to the EC3 LAN-finals, are you in a class by yourself? Or is there close competition that\'ll be discovered as great TDM clans as well?

    Not enough to go to the cpl-london. (hopefully not \'yet\')

<ph33rl3ss> Being the only clan that has played both Q3CTF and Q3TDM at the same time as a clan before and now after quitting Q3CTF as a clan still has several players that plays both MODs for Quake3, how do you feel this affect your gameplay? Is there any advantages/disadvantages you feel you have by playing both MODs?

<Cicatrix> Ctf improves your gameplay, and if the right players are placed on the right places (more defensive players on defense :)) ) then it can only help you as a player to evolve.

<ph33rl3ss> The interest in Challenge Promode (now called Challenge Promode Arena - CPMA for short) has increased with the Clash of the Titans tournament in USA/Canada. Any interest in this? Have you tried it?

    All Cx\'ers except KoeKieman dislike cpm.

    KoeKieman: Cpm is just so much better than vq3, but I stopped promoting cpm a long time ago. The reason why I like cpm more is because its a less balanced game. The armours are stronger, the mg is weaker, the armours dont count down, the shaft has more knockback, the plasma and ssg are less strong, the rl is slightly faster and has more knockback. The movement is much cooler too. This all leads to a much faster game with more control if you are on the right side and more stress if u are on the wrong side. Without mg cess, q3 playes so much more fun.... But i know this is a lost cause, as long as the big tourneys dont host major cpm games, most of the \'pros\' will not play it, as long as most of the pros dont play it, the average player wont either. Its a circle :/

<ph33rl3ss> Who do you \'have most respect for\'/\'fear most\' in EC3 and who do you think will win?

<Cicatrix> We think anc will win it.

<ph33rl3ss> Who will go to the EC3 finals in Holland? Players/coach/cheerleaders?
